I really like this place :) I have severe anxiety around auto shops due to sensory issues. This place is very quiet and I can wait outside in their spacious parking lot until its my turn. Then I dont have to wait in the car while they do their thing. They have A very quiet front office.
They also can store the tires which I thought was very nice and asked me to come back in 100km to make sure my tire nuts where tight.
Also the gentleman handling the phones was singing and apologized for swearing. I get scared around men and loud noises but I felt very comfortable around him.
A safe place to go if you are on the spectrum and a woman.

In and out in 15 minutes for 2 trailer tires. Best price in town. Friendly staff.

Despite waiting three hours, 100% worth it. Service was fast and efficient and reasonably priced. Nothing but satisfaction after leaving.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that Kawartha Tires was taking walk-in snow tire installs when everyone else was booked until December! Their price was reasonable the work was excellent and the staff easy to work with-- especially John the manager. Will definitely go here for tire changes and new tires in the future.

I was quoted $250 for exactly the same job that Kawartha Tires charged $90. No, there is no luxury waiting area, or piped in music, but I'll give that up any day to save $110. Finally, I was advised, in a friendly manner, of a few safety measures I needed to take. These were very down to earth people and will definitely go there for my summer tire change. Thank you Kawartha Tires, see you in the spring.
